Jamshed A. Hyder is serving California Department of Transportation as a Transportation Engineer. He is also an adjunct mathematics instructor at Chaffey Community College where he teaches mathematics since 2001. Previously, he was a project engineer at several architectural and engineering firms. He received his bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1997 from Cal Poly University, Pomona. Shahid Alam served as a General Secretary of AABEA Southern California Chapter in 2015-2016. He is a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California. He is serving as a PECG delegate for Orange County section in 2018/2020. Shahid Alam is a proud husband of Rowshan ara Alam, a federal employee with Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The couple have a twenty-year old son, Sakib Alam, a college student while serving in the Department of Navy as a student trainee, and an eleven-year old son of elementary level, Rohan Alam. Iqbal Rahman is currently working in the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans)as Transportation Engineer. Before he joined Caltrans, he worked in Analytical Industries Inc. where he was a part of the Design and Innovation group to design the O2 measurement Electronic Instruments for Industrial, Medical and Oil and Gas applications for vendors such as US Navy, Chevron, Exxon Mobil and Intel. He earned his BS degree from California State Polytechnic University (Cal Poly), Pomona. His favorite sport is basketball. He loves biking and hiking. He is happily married to Salma Iqbal and they are blessed with a boy, Faheem Iqbal.

Farzana Huda (Nipa) has been working as a Transportation Engineer in Caltrans for 11 years in the division of Design. She works as a Project Engineer for delivering In-house as well as Oversight projects and delivered several encroachment Permit projects partnering with various local agencies. She has her BS degree from BUET and MS degree from UCLA, both in Civil Engineering.

Md Musa is currently working as a Senior Engineer at Caltrans District 7. He graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in Civil Engineering in 1988 and obtained M.S. from Washington State University in 1991 and M.E. from Utah State University in 1993. Prior to joining Caltrans in 2006, he worked in a large paper mill in Arizona as an Environmental Engineer for four years and Hyperion Analytics (currently owned by Oracle) as a database consultant for eight years. Md Musa's daughter Sarah Haque and son-in-law Emran Haque are also members of AABEA SC Chapter.

Mohammed Sarwar Jahan is an Information System Architect at Prime Healthcare, Ontario. Previously he worked as a System Architect for IBM, Oakwood Healthcare and Century Link. He received his Bachelor degree in Business Studies from Islamic University in 1989 and MBA in Information Technology from Oklahoma City University in 2001. He is married and father of twin daughters.

Dr. Mohammad Husain is a Professor of Computer Science and Cyber Security at California State Polytechnic University (Cal Poly), Pomona. He is the Director of Poly Sec Lab, a Center for Cyber Security Research, Education and Outreach supported by over $2.3M grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Education (DoEd) and National Security Agency (NSA) as well as industry sponsors such Intel, Google, Microsoft, Northrop Grumman and Boeing. Dr. Husain is also the Director of nationally recognized programs such as CPP-SFS Cyber Corps Scholarship and CPP Gen Cyber program at Cal Poly, Pomona. He completed his MS and PhD from State University of New York, Buffalo supported by Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship and undergraduate from Yamagata University, Japan as a Monbusho scholar. His professional involvements include organizations such as IEEE, ACM and National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).

Mohammed Mahibur Rais completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1989 from BUET, Bangladesh. He has been working as a Service Engineer in the Service Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific for last 18 years. His fields of specializations are Ion Chromatography and High Performance Liquid Chromatography. He is happily married to his wife Dr. Umme Ruman Rais and lives in Castaic with their two sons. He loves traveling, reading books, spending time with friends and family.
